The gold standard for waxed laces in ice hockey and roller hockey. Their wax coating creates friction between the strands and the eyelets: the tightness stays exactly where you set it, without loosening over the course of your shifts on the ice.
Where a classic cotton lace stretches out within the first few minutes and absorbs moisture—swelling up, getting dirty, and breaking—the waxed lace repels water, slides better through the eyelets, and allows you to tighten the lower part of your foot more firmly without force. The molded tip does not fray.
