The Ethic DTC Tenacity V2 in raw finish: bare steel, visible welds, and a cut-out Ethic logo. This is the French brand's steel benchmark — 25% stronger at the welds than the V1 and 70g lighter thanks to multibutting.

Multibutting, explained

A "butted" tube does not have the same thickness everywhere: more material in areas that bear stress (welds, junctions), less where it is unnecessary. The result: a stronger and lighter handlebar at the same time.

Maintaining a raw finish

Raw has no paint or varnish: it's bare steel. Superb, but you need to wipe it down after a rain session and occasionally apply a lightly oiled cloth to prevent rust spots. Many riders intentionally let the handlebar develop a patina — that's also the charm of Raw.

Oversize 34.9 mm and compression

Vertical tube in 34.9 mm instead of the standard 31.8 mm: more rigid, less risk of ovalization when tightening. Oversize clamp required. The handlebar is slotted by design (ready for HIC) and the SCS plug is included for SCS conversion. Also compatible with Ethic's BPM weight system.
