DESCRIPTION

The CORE Apollo V2 titanium handlebar is one of the lightest handlebars you can mount on a stunt scooter: between 700 and 950 grams depending on the size, whereas an equivalent steel handlebar weighs around 1.1 kg.

✂️ Custom cutting offered. We cut it to the width and height you want, for free. Three heights are available: if none of them fit you just right, choose the larger size and email us your measurements when placing your order, and we will adjust it before shipping.

Grade 9 titanium: what is it for

Grade 9 titanium (3Al-2.5V) offers roughly the strength of good steel for about 40% less weight. On a scooter, the handlebar is the part you throw on every barspin and every whip: this is where weight reduction is felt the most, much more than on the deck or wheels.

The Raw finish leaves the titanium in its raw state, with its characteristic grey hue and visible weld marks.

Y-bar: fewer welds

On a Y-bar, the crossbar and the uprights form a single continuous piece. Fewer welds in the most stressed area, and more clearance under the bar — practical when the handlebar comes into contact with the deck or the front wheel.

Compression: HIC and SCS

The handlebar comes with a 3 cm compression slit, placed on the left side to reduce forward stress. It is therefore ready for HIC, and the SCS adapter is included: you plug the slit and it converts to SCS. Both systems in the box.

⚠️ For HIC, make sure your clamp covers the entire height of the slit, otherwise the handlebar may turn inside the clamp.
