The gold standard for waxed laces in ice hockey and roller hockey. Their wax coating creates friction between the strands and the eyelets: the tension stays locked exactly where you set it, without loosening over the course of your shifts on the ice.

Whereas a classic cotton lace stretches out within the first few minutes and absorbs moisture—causing it to swell, get dirty, and break—the waxed lace repels water, slides more easily through the eyelets, and allows you to tighten the lower part of the skate without effort. The molded tip does not fray.
